Adara's Journey (Part 1 - 3)

Part 1: Meet The World

I was running after something until I realized that I had been somewhere unfamiliar to me. I looked around and realized that I was lost. I was about to cry because I hate this situation. But then I was confused because I didn't see anyone.

The next thing I realized was the fact that I was in a room with whitewashed walls. I walked, tried to touch the end of the room, but I couldn't. Suddenly, I heard a voice. A women voice. She was crying and screaming.

"Hello? Is anybody there?" I asked.

She kept screaming. I walked toward the sound. I was trying to find whose sound it was. But then I saw something creepy. A big--a really big hand. No, two hands! I saw 2 big hands! It looked like it was trying to catch me, so I ran!

I ran so fast but I didn't move at all. I was so afraid. Someone help me! I started to cry and yell. "SOMEONE HELP!"

Those big hands were moving until they finally caught my body. I could feel that my body lifted. I closed my eyes, cried, and screamed. I felt that I was moved in another room. But I was too afraid to see so I kept closing my eyes.

Those two big hands moved me to some soft and warm place. I was still crying, but I could hear a voice. A women voice. She no longer cry, but she said something.

"Adara... Welcome to the world, baby."

I stopped crying and started to open my eyes. I saw two beautiful eyes looking at me, full of love. I looked at those eyes, and then I smiled.

Part 2: The Command

The rain was pouring when I played with my toys in my comfortable room. Mom was cooking and dad was working. I was alone until someone suddenly came. He didn't enter my room through the door but wall. I was neither shocked nor afraid because I knew who he was.

He was my friend.

"Hi, Adara!"

"Hi! Come here! I got new toy!" I said.

He walked over and sat next to me. He was big enough but beautiful. He touched my head and stroked my hair, made me feel comfortable. "Are you happy to be here?" he asked.

I nodded.

"Adara, can you do something for me? I want you to always remember me."

I frown my forehead. "Of course. I will always remember you."

He smiled but it was a sad smile, "I lost a lot of friends when they had found their happiness in this world. I don't want you to become like them."

"They are called fake friends. It's okay, don't think about them, I will never leave you. I promise." I said with confidence.

His face still looked sad. "This is my last time I came to see you."

I was shocked. "But, why? I can not come to see you."

"You can." he said. "Someone will bring you to my house. And we will meet at that place."

"I will be so lonely..." I said.

"No, you won't. I am still here. You just can not see me anymore."

"Can we talk, even though I can not see you?"

"Yes, we can. If you need me, I will be able to talk with you."

"Okay..." I looked down, my tears started coming out. I would miss him so much.

"Don't cry." he wiped away my tears.

"I--"

"Adara, mommy brings you something delicious!" mom suddenly came to my room, made my friend disappeared.

I was sad, so I started to cry.

"Aw, are you surprised because of mommy? I'm sorry, baby." mommy hugged me, made me felt warm.

Part 3: Visiting His House

I stared at my reflection from head to toe in the mirror in front of me. I looked beautiful! I couldn't wait to meet him and talk to him again. Meeting only once a week made me miss him so much. I walked to my parents' room.

"Mommy, can we go now?" I asked.

"5 minutes more, baby." said Mom, she was trying to look beautiful too in front my friend.

"Where is Daddy, Mom?"

"He is outside, honey."

I walked out of the house and looked for my daddy. He was talking with our neighbor, Stewart Family. I walked up to my daddy. "Hi, Daddy. Hi, Mr. Stewart." I greeted them.

"Hey, little Johnson. Looks beautiful as usual." said Mr. Stewart, I smiled.

"Of course I have to look beautiful, because I will meet my friend." I answered.

My daddy and Mr. Steward laughed. I never understood why they always laugh when I tell them that He is my friend. I was not lying. I told them the truth. "Where is Emily, Mr. Stewart?"

"She is inside. Go play with her."

"Okay!"

I ran to Mr. Stewart house and entered the house. I climbed the stairs and headed for Emily's room. "Emily!" I yelled.

She was shocked and I laughed. "Oh, hey, Adara! Come here, I have something to show you."

"What is it?" I walked up to her, who were sitting on the bed.

"My mom just bought me a new barbie. Look how beautiful her hair!" Emily showed me a barbie doll with pink hair. "I wish I could be a barbie. She is beautiful and has so many pretty dresses!"

I laughed, "Yeah, I want to be a barbie too!"

We were playing with Emily's barbie until her mom called us to go downstairs because we would leave soon. My family and Emily's went together to my friend's house. We reached our destination about 15 minutes. I immediately ran to my friend's house and searched for him.

"Adara! Don't run!" my mom yelled, but I ignored her and kept running.

"Wow, kid, don't run!" someone grabbed my wrist and stopped me.

"Let me go. I want to meet my friend." I said.

"I am sure your friend can wait, kid. It's not polite running in God's house. He will be mad at you." that stranger said.

I smirked, "He won't. Because He is my friend and we will have a lot of things to talk to that's why I have to run so we will have much time to talk. Now let me go, Mr. Stranger!"

And he let me, so I could run, so I could meet my friend, whom people always call him God.
